ABOUT OUR ASSOCIATION
Northgate Terrace is a Homeowners Association (HOA) near Oak Harbor on beautiful Whidbey Island WA. As an HOA, we are governed by WA state law and CCRs and Bylaws.
HOMEOWNER BOARD MEMBERS (HOA) INFORMATION
If any homeowner would like to be on the HOA board, please come to a board meeting and let us know.
To be on the board you must be a homeowner in Northgate Terrace. Renters are not board-eligible but may come any meeting (with relevant questions or concerns). All are welcome.
The Northgate Terrace Community Association meetings are held annually on the second Thursday of May at 6:00 PM in the clubhouse at 4330 Childrens Ave. ALL homeowners and renters are encouraged to attend, though renters will be asked to leave prior to any votes being held.
Attendance at the annual Association meetings is STRONGLY ENCOURAGED by homeowners as water dues/assessment fees are often discussed. If these meetings raise the water dues/assessment fee in ANY amount, it will reflect on the bill that goes out from King Water on June 1.
NOTE: KING WATER DOES NOT SET OUR WATER DUES. THE COMMUNITY DOES. THE HOA BOARD ACTS AS AN AGENT FOR NGT HOMEOWNERS.
Provisionally approved minutes will be available for homeowners within sixty days after the meeting, per WA law. Final approval will occur at the next Association meeting.
Northgate Terrace Community HOA Board meetings occur every month (except for May, when the annual Association meeting occurs), also on the second Thursday of every month at 6 PM, at the Northgate Terrace Community clubhouse at 4330 Childrens.
Our clubhouse is found at 4330 Childrens Ave (off Nogaterra Drive) and can be rented by homeowners and renters that live in the community for parties, anniversaries, family reunions and such. Homeowners can receive their rental fee back as long as the clubhouse is cleaned. Non-Profit organizations that wish to use the club house can do so for free by contacting the Chair of the board and getting approval (Please look under clubhouse resources on the web site).
Our community’s water source is supplied by two wells and one reservoir; it is managed by King Water Systems (107 S Main St, Coupeville, WA 98239, 360-678-5336) Our reservoir/wells service 265 homes in Northgate Terrace.
